Breeding and Showing Cats/Pregnant kitty question

Question
Hi I've written before and your advice has helped in the past so I have more questions! Ok I'll give you a little reminder of my pregnant kitty. Shes about 10 months old now, up to date on all immunizations and worming treatments and is due anyday now, she's also been seeing the vet regularly throughout her pregnancy but in the past two days or so I've had a little concern, her stool has been a little more "loose" then normal but not watery and after she uses the litter box shes adapted the habit of like wiping herself across my carpet...yuck! I'm just wondering if this is normal or if this just means shes getting closer to labor? She's been checking out her nesting box more and actually spending more time in there, I'm going away this weekend for easter and of course I wanna be here for the birth but I'm confident that she'll be ok, I'm bring my male cat with me just to be safe so he wont disturb her if she happens to go into labor. I was going to bring her with us but I dont want her to have the kittens while we're away and bring them into a possibly unsafe envirnoment so we decided to leave her home and we'll only be gone for the night...do you think this is safe? My biggest concern is really the stool situation because I know cats can pretty much care for their kittens with little help.

Answer
She is a little loose during the pregnancy
She may be trying to dislodge the plug to allow her to give birth
It will be OK but slightly messy
I do hope that you had a good Easter, sorry for not getting back to you sooner but have been away building a cat pen for a friend
So you should be hearing the sounds of meows pretty soon
