Question
I have just moved in with a friend he has an 11 year old female and I have a 4 month old male. Neither are fixed can they have kittens with the male so young and the female so old??

Answer
Hi Dan
The straight answer is there is nothing certain in this world except death and taxes. (**grin**)
It is highly unlikely that your friend's 11 year old cat can have kittens, she is the equivalent of a 70 year old woman in human terms. Her uterus and fallopian tubes may well have atrophied by now. There is of course nothing to stop the 4 month old male from exercising, although he too is too young to father any kittens just now
