hi its me again, as you know my cat is 52 days pregnant and ive just spoke to previous owner who said she had 2 kittens in the past and they both died at birth, is this likely to happen again were taking great care of her,

Not necessarily. Each pregnancyis different and the previous death could have been due to anything. She might have taken a fall, it could have been something that her previous owner used in the house that she reacted to or even a whole host of other things.
Just be there for her at her due date.

I can give answers on cat breeding and showing having 'served' over 30 years in this particular field. I head up a Yahoo Group and also a cat club (NBA Cat Club) devoted to educating novices in the correct way to breed, and also show with both GCCF and TICA on a regular basis, and am well versed with the show world, having been involved in the management of the major GCCF Supreme Show in the UK for over 25 years. Genetics however is not my strong point.
