Subject: pregnant cats nipples

Question
My short haired black cats' nipples are a concern to
me.Its her 3rd pregnancy&I never noticed this kind of
thing before but her skin around the nipples has got black
patches.Looks kinda like mold.Should I worry about
this? She is in the last days of her pregnancy.

Answer
Hi Shelle
I think it may be crusted milk
Just clean her nipples with warm water and cotton wool
Do not distress her if you can avoid it
If she is in her latter stage of pregnancy then just watch her carefully and help her through the final stages
Ray
