Question
Dear Dr Ray :
I have a male cat who is 1.2 years old.his color is blue smoke Persian and his breed is Persian (classic ) . his father's color is just like him and his mother is all white . he was the only male cat of the litter and the other two kittens where female and all white (3 overall)
on the other hand i have a female cat who is 1 year old and her breed is chinchilla ( white with grey streams ). his father is Persian in smoke color and her mother is just like her, chinchilla. she was borne with 2 other male kittens in white , one in smoke color and 1 like herself (5 overall).
I'll be pleased if you can help me predicting the color and if possible the gender of kittens.
Best Regards
Camellia

Answer
Hi Camelia
let me give you two web sites that may help in colour predictor
http://www.catterysearch.com/tools/persian_color_chart.asp
http://www.cats4u.co.za/colourchart.htm

This is for Persian cats
It will help you predict the colours to some degree of accuracy.
It is impossible to predict the gender of any kittens. If I could do that I would be worth millions. The gender is 50/50 it is either male or female. It is all down to genetics and x and y chromosomes.
