Question
ok my cat had a dead kitten about 1 hour and 30 minutes ago and she hasent had any more kittens, are the rest of the kittens dead inside of her if so will she have them and if she doesnt will the mommy cat die?
I do hope that by now if the other kittens haven't been born that you have taken your cat to the vet. Otherwise yes if she doesn't pass the kittens and they are dead, then they will decay inside her and she will be very ill and possibly die.

I can give answers on cat breeding and showing having 'served' over 30 years in this particular field. I head up a Yahoo Group and also a cat club (NBA Cat Club) devoted to educating novices in the correct way to breed, and also show with both GCCF and TICA on a regular basis, and am well versed with the show world, having been involved in the management of the major GCCF Supreme Show in the UK for over 25 years. Genetics however is not my strong point.
