Breeding and Showing Cats/pregnancy

Question
hi,
it's been 21 days past after my two cats mating.how can i recognize if my cat is pregnant or not ?

Answer
HI Camelia

It is about this time that you should see and be able to feel that her teats are a little bigger and they may also be pinker.  If they feel larger but are not too pink don't worry too much as they don't all do as the book says - wish cats could read!

Really that's the only real sign at this stage and it could be anything up to 28 days before that shows, it really depends on the individual cat.

Expertise

I can give answers on cat breeding and showing having 'served' over 30 years in this particular field. I head up a Yahoo Group and also a cat club (NBA Cat Club) devoted to educating novices in the correct way to breed, and also show with both GCCF and TICA on a regular basis, and am well versed with the show world, having been involved in the management of the major GCCF Supreme Show in the UK for over 25 years. Genetics however is not my strong point.

Experience

30 years of continuous cat breeding and showing with two major organisations.
