Question
Hello i recently found a young kitten outside he is mainly
black with white on the underside and paws but are their
anyways i can tell what breed he is please help???

Answer
Hi Keither
It is very difficult to tell the breed of a kitten using words alone. You need to look at pictures and compare your little kitten against those pictures and maybe you could arrive at a breed.

Go to http://www.cfa.org/breeds.html and look through the different links. Most of them display several pictures of the breed.
This list is not exhaustive but it does cover most of the main breeds of cat.Two things to be aware of though.

1. A kitten has to 'grow' into it's head and ears so may not look like the picture of its adult counterpart
2. You may just have a nice moggie and that would be difficult to classify.

Look after it well but also be aware that it might have just escaped from somewhere and the real owner and its mother are frantic looking for it.
