Breeding and Showing Cats/my pregnant cat refuses to drink milk.

QuestionDear Doctor Ray.
First of all thank you for your amazing answer to my previous question . it was helpful as usual.
Well , I think i must consult you about another concern of mine regarding my pregnant Princess .
You see , I've heard from many experts and professional breeders that drinking milk during pregnancy is something essential and vital for a pregnant queen as it supplies calcium for the to-be mother .
well , Princess is so head strong ( specially when it comes to consuming milk ) as all of my attempts for making her to consume milk has been failed yet . she just hates any sort of milk!
it has made me a bit concern about her future actually.
so , in your opinion what should i do in this case ? should i mix calcium syrup in her water ? if so , how much and how long ? what is your general recommendation to me?
Thanks a lot

AnswerDear Soheil
Your cat does not need milk during her pregnancy. Just think where would she get that in the wild. Cats are from semi arid places which mean they only need a limited amount of liquid intake. If she is thirsty she will drink.
Give her bottled water not water from the faucet.
Make sure it is fresh every day
Cow's milk could be very rich in calcium and cause her stomach upset so give her milk specifically produced for cats not humans. If she does not like it then revert to bottled water
