Question
hello
how do i know when my cat is in season?

Answer
Usually the cat will begin to make a loud noise 'calling' for a mate. But some little loves don't do this, they have what is a known as a 'silent call'. Other ways to check are the cat will become very attentive to you, rolling down in front you, getting under your feet every time you move.
One sure way is to carry out the following and please do not alarm it is what would happen in a mating anyway...
Grab the animal by the scruff and then work your other hand down toward her tail and scratch her around the tail area. If she is receptive 'in season' she will arch her back and her rear legs will pound and pace. At this point you have a cat in season.
