Question
I was married for 15 years to my childhood sweetheart. We divorced for 4 years and decided we couldn't live without each other, and have since reconciled. We have decided to remarry, What is an appropriate dress for our second marrige. We would like to keep it casual but memorable.

Answer
According to tradition brides going into their second marriage are suggested to wear cream or off-white since solid egg white is reserved for first time brides. I would go to a bridal shop and ask what style is appropriate for a second marriage since a salesperson would have some idea what the current trends are for those who are wanting a tasteful and appropriate look for a second wedding. As far as color goes I would stick to the cream or off-white. Most second time brides wear simple dresses since they wore gowns for their first marriage. An evening style or floor length cocktail dress should be a modest choice for a second wedding.
