Question
What is the maximum high card points you can have and still bid a weak two

Answer
Hi!

The weak two bid -    (2 Spades, 2 Hearts, and 2 Diamonds,) usually has these guidelines:

(a)  A six card diamond, heart or spades suit.   Six card suit only!
(b)  No more than 12 HCP.

There is no such thing as a weak 2 Club bid!

Some players insist that the weak 2 bid suit have at least two of the top five honor cards.

Other players insist that the hand have at least 8 HCP

Variations abound,  Be sure to discuss with your partner the parameters of your
weak two bids!
