Bridge & other card games/rotations

I have a group playing cards each week and the group could number 21, 22, or 23.

I have a rotation for 20 and 24 but I need help with the odd ones

I have 4 persons per table, playing pitch, partners, and I need a rotation so that each player plays with a different partner.  I realize that some will sit out each game but I cannot come up with the rotation

can you help?

Hi there.

I would utlilize a 6 player Howell  (Individual) movement.

Check out this site:

If you have 24 players, this is ideal.   (6 tables, 4 players each0

If you have 23 players, then there will be "sit out" table  (# 6) in which three player will "sit out".  22 Players will have a 2 player sit out, and 21 players will have a one player sit out, Those players who played at Table 6 will have to play an extra round in order to make equal the number of hands played by all.

Another useful resource is the Bridge Director's  handbook (for all movements)
by Alex Groner.

Finally, the Internet can provide a plethora of information regarding Howell movements.

Good luck with your game.
