For the Responder:   How do you differeniate 6-8 points and 9-10 points with 3 of the major which your partner bid after 1NT forcing.    i.e.
1 Heart..1NT...2Clubs....?
With 6-8 would you just bid 2 hearts?

With 10 points you would generally make a 3 card limit raise...1H-1NT-2C-3H...unless it is a really bad 10 point hand (4-3-3-3 or mostly queens and jacks).

With 6-9 (or a bad 10) most players would just bid 1H-2H without going through the forcing NT. You should have at least an eight card fit.

Some players, however, prefer to play "constructive raises". This treatment has both advantages and disadvantages. In this style, a direct raise 1H-2H shows 8 or 9 points with 3 card trump support or 7-9 points with 4 card trump support. With a weaker hand you would first bid 1NT and then bid two of the major Therefore, 1H-1NT-2C-2H shows either a weak hand with heart support or, alternatively, 6-10 points with a doubleton heart. This creates some ambiguity which is one of the advantages of this treatment.

I can answer questions on bidding and on cardplay with the caveat that the former may necessarily involve some subjectivity. I have been playing tournament bridge for over 20 years and I have won several regional tournaments.
