Question
Hi Willie Wallace /like "Brave Heart"/,
I'm from Bulgaria and I'm interesting in how can i work in Scotland? Can I?

Answer
Hello Vasil,

I am sorry this reply took so long, but I was out of my office.

As Bulgaria is a member of the European Union, there should be no restrictions about coming to work here.  There are a lot of employment agencies, most of which are listed on the following web page

http://www.ukwebstart.com/listjobsscotland.html

and if that's not enough, there are more on this site

http://www.scotsmart.com/c/jobs.html

probably the one thing which people will look for to get a good job is you being able to speak good English.  I hope you do, as it will definitely help you.

There are a lot of people in Scotland from Eastern Europe, especially from Poland, working in all kinds of jobs, from professional office jobs, to bars, cleaning and working in hotels.  Have you ever worked in hotels?  One way of finding work and possibly a place to stay, is to find a job in a hotel.  This usually will not work in a big city hotel, but hotels which are out in the country are more likely to give you a place to stay.

and one last one for jobs in the hotel and bar areas all across the UK

Good Luck,
