Britain/United Kingdom/England/Hotels/Accommodation in London

Question
Can anyone suggest a budget hotel in Central London?

Answer
The first thing to know about London is, it is like a series of small towns, connected by The Underground.  Go down at one station in one small town (maybe Notting Hill) and come up in another small town (say Tower of London), down again and back up in  another (maybe Oxford Circus).  That's very simplistic and of course, you can travel through it all above ground, but The Underground is the link to everything and when you realise that, it doesn't much matter where you start off, it is relatively easy to get to where you want to be.

Having said that, the best "central" area for low cost (London hasn't really anything that is low cost, so we are talking relatively, here) accommodation, is probably Bayswater and Notting Hill and one of the newest on offer is

At about GBP70 for a twin room, when booked on line, it isn't a bad price at all, for London.  It is in easy walking distace of four Underground stations, so everywhere is easily reached.

Hope that helps you.
