Answer
Thank you very much for your question.

In theory, this is very easy to answer as you would take a train from Dover to Ashford International, which is a stopping point for the Eurostar trains - this is the proper name for the Channel Tunnel trains.

However, this station has very few trains and may have even less next year.

Also, your cruise could be delayed, making the pre-booking of train  seats very difficult - you can just turn up and buy a ticket, but that's much more expensive. For the cheaper tickets (at approx £30 each way), you must travel on the booked train.

I would therefore suggest that you consider taking a ferry from Dover to France - they run at least hourly, and then a train from Calais direct to Paris.

Do come back if I can help further, please!

As a full time, UK based, travel journalist, I travel almost constantly around the whole of the UK, searching out restaurants, hotels and "must see" places. Visitors for both business and pleasure are welcome to ask questions. I almost always travel by public transport, so questions on rail, air and coach / bus travel are also very welcome. I also regularly write about and use the "Eurostar" rail service between London and Continental Europe - which uses a tunnel under the English Channel - so I am able to help with any questions there, too.
