Question
We are planning a cruise from Dover on NCL in September 2010.  What is the best way to get from Heathrow, or Gatwick to the cruise port?  Which is the closest airport?  Thanks!

Answer
You can take the train from Gatwick or the underground from Heathrow, to Victoria Station and either catch the train to Dover, more expensively, or take the National Express bus (more cheaply).  Train is deffo nicer!  Short taxi to cruise terminal.

Both journeys will take the same time (from Gatwick and Heathrow) although Gatwick is considerably closer.  For more info and a little map to show you how easy it is, see

Private car would be GBP170 and there are links on the above pages.

Good Luck and enjoy your cruise.
