Question
Will be staying near Victoria Station on Piccadilly.  Does the trains go from Victoria Station to Dover?  I have visited the Rail Europe site and it doesn't list Victoria Stat. as a departure to Dover.  Is checking luggage an option on these trains?  We are going on a cruise.

Answer
Hello Daniel,
Thank you for your question.
There are direct rail services from London Victoria station to Dover Priory station, although these run only once per hour on weekdays. There are more frequent services to Dover from London Charing Cross station.
You can look at rail timetables by searching at the National Rail website where you can also find costs of individual fares. Unfortunately, check-in services are not available on trains.

Regards
Michael
