AboutEmoor Expertise I have been traveling almost annually in England or Scotland as a tourist for the last 25 years, so I know quite a bit about train travel, car rental, B&Bs, tourist discounts, standard tourist sites, good places to eat, pubs, prices, and things to do off
Question I read your other answers, but.... If my flight doesn't arrive until 1:40 pm (assuming it is not late), I will have checked bags to claim and the cruise ship leaves at 4pm, can I possible me the cruise and what mode of transit is the most reliable for making the journey?
Answer The most reliable way to make the transfer to Harwich from Heathrow is a private car. One I have used in the past for airport transfers is Ray's London Transport, www.london-transfers.com.
Check their website and phone them for a quote and an estimate of time.
I believe it will take over two hours to drive from Heathrow to Harwich. It is over 100 miles. In other words, I personally believe you will need a much earlier flight to make your cruise ship.
