Question
I have a client that is traveling to the Electorx Corp. in the Letchworth Business center in Hertfordshire.  He will be flying from the U.S. and I assume has to fly into Heathrow.  Can you give me directions on the best way to get to his destination from there?

Thank you very much

Answer
There is an airport at Luton England called Luton London Airport which is very close to the Letchworth Business Center.  However, there are very few if any flights from the USA to the Luton Airport.  It generally serves the remainder of Europe from London.   Heathrow Airport will be your client's best bet.

Nonetheless, the Luton/Letchworth area is not far from London, and many travelers from the USA want to transfer to Luton Airport for the continuation of their trips to European locations.  As a result, Heathrow will have a number of airport transfer alternatives which will take your client not only to Luton Airport where he could catch a cheap taxi ride, but also to nearby places such as Letchworth.

Go to Google and search for Heathrow Airport Transfers and then look for the transfers to Luton Airport.  You can call and make arrangements to transfer your client not only to the Luton Airport as such, but also to the Letchworth Business Center. [Incidentally, I assume he will be looking for Electrolux, right?]

I have been traveling almost annually in England or Scotland as a tourist for the last 25 years, so I know quite a bit about train travel, car rental, B&Bs, tourist discounts, standard tourist sites, good places to eat, pubs, prices, and things to do off
