Hi Michael,
I will travel Norwich and Edinburgh with my wife in the early August. Pls kindly advise the transportation from Norwich to Edinburgh. We have no idea to take the railway or the flight. Pls advise the approximate price for train and flight. Thanks a lot!!

Thank you for your question.

As you are booking well in advance, I would suspect that you may find the flights from Norwich to Edinburgh to be your cheapest and most convenient option. The company which offers these flights is FlyBe, and currently there are tickets available for August for as little as £11 one way. This is a direct flight which takes around 1h20.

The alternative route, by rail, is much more complex (having to change trains at Peterborough), a much longer journey (at around 5 to 6 hours), and more expensive (with prices starting at £28)
