Answer
Hi Joel,

Yes, you can take a bus ("coach" in  Britspeak) from London to Edinburgh...but be prepared for a long journey.

The cheapest way is to use Megabus (www.megabus.com).  A bus leaves London at 8:45 a.m. and gets to Glasgow, Scotland at 5:20 p.m.  Then leave Glascow at 6 pm and arrive in Edinburgh at about 7:30.  Total fare is £15.50.

The more traditional bus service is National Express (www.nationalexpress.co.uk).  Leave London at 9:30 a.m. and arrive Edinburgh at 7:00 p.m.   Fare is £29.

(you'll need to confirm all the times and fares, plus look at other options, on Megabus or National Express)

To avoid spending all day on a bus you could take the train from London to Edinburgh in  about 4 1/2 hours.  If you buy less expensive advanced purchase tickets for about £24 using the QJump (www.qjump.co.uk) or The Trainline (www.thetrainline.co.uk) internet services.

Hope this information is helpful.
