AboutEmoor Expertise I have been traveling almost annually in England or Scotland as a tourist for the last 25 years, so I know quite a bit about train travel, car rental, B&Bs, tourist discounts, standard tourist sites, good places to eat, pubs, prices, and things to do off
I've heard of two very famous churches in London, St. Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey. Can you give me some brief intro on these two churches? What are some of their similiarities and differences? Which one is more important or prominent? If a visitor could only visit one of them, which one would you recommend, and why?
Thanks!
Answer Westminster Abbey is nearly 1,000 years old, and is the burial place of hundreds of celebrated Englishmen, including the royal family, poets, scientists, and military and political leaders. St. Paul's Cathedral was designed by Christopher Wren and is a magnificent structure with a huge dome which dominates the skyline. Both are worth the visit, and I could not choose between them. They each have a website:
