Question
Hi Francine,

I am planning a december 8 - 15 london/paris trip with my wife. This is first europe trip. I probably would stay in london for 3 nights and paris for 4 nights.

Is this is good time for the trip? What can I really enjoy in December? Where should I stay in London and what should I be doing? Should I plan for more nights in london or add one more city to the itinery?

thanks,
Raj

Answer
Raj,

This is a good amount of time to spend to get a taste of both cities.

London may be chilly and rainy so be prepared.

London has many great museums which are free. Don't miss the National Gallery, British Museum , National Portrait Gallery, and the British Library. Also theatre in London is reasonable and terrific too. Good for a cool winter day.

Hope this helps,

Francine
