Question
I am planning to purchase a Brit Rail Pass. We would take the rail from London to Edinburgh then from Edinburgh to Carlisle. How long is the trip to Carlisle? We would rent a car in Carlisle and drive to North Wales. Do you think we could make this trip in one day? Look forward to your reply. Thank You, Lynda
Hi Lynda,
In answer to your further questions, Conwy (note, no a) is on the North Wales coast, about 45 miles north of Dolgellau. Nevertheless, this won't make a great deal of difference in the length of your journey time from Carlisle.
