Question
I have been told that thesse countries go on vacation and that there is nothing to do in Agust,2007-is this true?

Fear not. Although it is true that the countries you mention are at the height of summer in August, so many people take their family holiday within the UK that that's when all the attractions, castles, museums, etc. are open longest. If you are planning to visit the UK during August 2007 I'm sure you'll find plenty to keep you entertained - and hopefully you'll enjoy some nice weather too!
