I am working on a school project for 4th grade and need to know how many hours it takes to go from New york to England on a plane?

Hi Laura,
Flight times are different in each direction. American fly London to New York in 7 hours and 30 minutes, but fly from New York to London in less than 7 hours. It is all to do with the speed of the jet stream (high level winds) in each direction.
