Britain/United Kingdom/England/London Hotels

QuestionThanks for your tips. I went through the sites you've mentioned, and I found hotel-assist bit helpful. How ever other 3 sites you mentioned were not up to my requirement. (One was actually a premitive search engine!)
While comparing offers from hotel-assist, I found two other websites findlondonrooms.com and londonnights.com. I found those two sites are much more user friendly, but I've never used them before. (I was using Expedia, for my earlier online bookings)
I'm doutful whether its ok to book with these un popular websites (hotel-assist, findlondonrooms, and londonnights) compared to expedia or priceline, as "Its a matter of my credit card and personal details". Will they be offer me a good service as much as Expedia or Priceline does? Are the guest reviews on these websites genuine?

Hi,
Here are two sites which I have used. hotel-assist.com and travelbritain.com. I would try any sites which you come up with and compare prices with the following locations to stay.
In London one does not stay near Central Station but close to the Center of the City. The least expensive hotels are in Bayswater. Bloomsbury and Kensington are a little more expensive but more convenient areas .One always wants to be within tube lines one and two. The london underground is a very efficient method of transportation.
In recent years we have used Priceline.com and gotten great prices on Hotels. If you are interested in learning about Priceline go to biddingfortravel.com and do some research before you bid.
Have fun. remember London is an expensive city.
AnswerWe have used hotel-assist .com in the past. I would not be afraid to use these sites as long as they have secure transactions when one puts the credit card in.One must also always check on the cancellation policy of the hotel. If you find a hotel you are interested in another possibilty would be to google it and look for a better price.
I do feel that the price you would get on priceline and the quality of the hotel cannot be beat by any other site. If you wish to explore this route one must go to biddingfortravel.com first.Try it ...Read this site carefully , read rules etc. Go to hotels England London and look at prices folks have got. Usually the best prices are gotten closer to the date of arrival. many take a backup hotel with liberal cancellation.
