My husband and I are thinking about travelling in Paris, Switzerland, UK in October, but we are concerned about the weather.  We would hate to have rainy days all the time.

Does it rain a lot in October Paris, Switzerland, UK? Does it rain heavily?  Does the rain last long?

Is it really cold?  What clothes should we wear?

hard to say as this year is the wettest on record but maybe by october it will have rained itself out.

It certainly should not be too cold but we have had bad weather all year in Northern Europe...

bring an umbrella and layers of clothing to be on the safe side!
