Hi Paul

Price depends what kind of hotel you want. The cheapest and probably ok is the Royal National which is just off the Square. There is also the Russell which is a grand looking (from the outside) hotel on the square but which is expensive and not very nice inside.

There are also a few hotels on Montague Gardens - one called the Montague which I think is expensive but looks nice.

There are also a number of hotels on Gower Street (which is close to the Square. If you google hotels on Gower Street you will get them. Best to get a room at the back as the road is very busy 24/7

Let me know if you want more information on any particular one.

There is also a good Jurys hotel which is on Great Russell Street only 5 mins walk from the square.
