Dear Mr. Cross,
How do I travel from Heathrow airport to Southend-On-Sea? My ultimate destination is Southchurch Park, as my husband wants to see a NCL Cricket match.

Hello Elisabeth, From Heathrow connect with the Undergound (Subway) system which will take you to central London. Then you will need to travel to either Waterloo or Fenchurch Street station both of which provide service to Southend. You had better ask someone when you reach central London - I am not that familiar with the rail system.
A very good web site to visit is at www.rail.co.uk. This has all the rail timetables etc.
