Question
Hi! Wondering if you could give me a rough idea how much cabfare would be from London Luton airport to the Waterloo station (to pick up the Eurostar)?  Also do you know of somewhere under 50 pounds for two people to stay for one night near London Stansted airport?
Thanks for your help!

Answer
Hi Debbie,

The cost of a taxi from Luton into London is likely to be around £75 - possibly more if you need to carry a lot of luggage.
Another option is the Greenline coach which costs around £9 per person. This takes longer of course (about 90 minutes), and would take you to Victoria station so you would need a taxi or underground transfer from there to Waterloo.
Alternatively, the Thameslink train runs from Luton Airport Parkway into St Pancras station. It costs around £11 for a one-way journey taking about 40 minutes.

The cheapest hotels around are likely to be Travel Inns or Lodges

Hope it all helps
