Question
Hi David,

We are a family from Australia (Warren 46y.o., Gillian 45y.o., Jesse 13y.o., Rachel 11y.o., Phoebe 9y.o..

We are planning to come to London in Nov 2005 to attend a friends 80th birthday (Tooting Broadway). We are planning to take 2006 "off" and travel in UK, Europe, Eastern Europe, North Africa, Middle east, Slip into Moscow and then move into India in Nov 2006 to spend 3 months there before heading home.

We are preparing ideas and destinations and options now. Obviously we have a lot of loose questions and a few more focused ones.

Would we be able to talk with you about this, asking advice in the areas you have interest in and maybe ask for guidance in other areas about where to obtain more info?

Best wishes

Warren & Gillian

Answer
Warren and Gillian,

I'd be happy to answer questions about the part of your journey that includes London, the UK, with maybe a couple of ideas about France too.  Sounds like you are on a real adventure...

London's a terrific place to start--with many sights and activities that will interest your children. (My son was 6 and my daughter was 10 when we made our first family visit to London).  We've extensively through the UK together, along with shorter trips to Paris, Normandie, the Loire, and Languedoc in France.

So feel free to ask your questions--either here on AllExperts or by email directly at

Sincerely,

David White
