Question
David, When I am in London, I want to meet someone at Victoria Station who has just come in on the train from Gatwick Airport. Where would be a good spot in the station to suggest as a meeting place? We need some place that is easy to find and we don't need it to be a restaurant. Thanks! Ruth West
Ruth,
Gatwick Express trains arrive on platforms 13/14 at Victoria. The Express ticket office is located where those platforms empty into the station. Unfortunately, there is no real dedicated waiting area, so I guess meeting near the Gatwick Express ticket office is a good bet. Once you get inside of Victoria station proper, you're in a huge, crowded hall and picking a meeting spot is a bit more daunting.
