We are a family with two kids aged 10 and 8,and we would like to spend a couple of weeks in England so that the children can be in a genuine English framework and practise the language a bit.We were thinking of going to a summer camp with them so that they can mix with other English children,but some other options might be considred .
Is there any chance that you can help us with some good ideas or addresses concerning our summer plans.I would be really grateful.Thanks.Reyes Leiro

Hello,

I am sorry that I do not have much information about learning English as part of a visit to the United Kingdom.  In general, if you were simply to visit the UK as a tourist, your children would probably not have many opportunities to mix with local children.  

As you know, there are many English language schools in the UK.  If you could locate a program that allows a family to enroll, or a program where your family could stay with an English family, that might work.  (Again, I just do not have any expertise in this area).
