Question
Can you offer some advice regarding walking tours conducted by commercial tour companies? I have been unable to find a site on the internet that has objective reviews of these companies or of their tours. Thank you.

I'm afraid I don't know much about these, but would suggest that you contact the relevant Tourist Information Board or Bureau. For example, if you are planning a walking tour of London, you can contact the 'Visit Britain' official tourist office:
