Question
why did she not marry that guy or marry someone else?

Answer
Hello Ben. Elizabeth I had several suitors, both English and foreign. There are various reasons why she didn't marry. The most important is that she viewed herself as married to England, that to marry a man would possibly reduce her authority as ruler, as had happened to her sister Mary and Mary, Queen of Scots. One theory is that she had seen the results of her father's disastrous marriages and she developed a fear of marriage as a result. Or perhaps she was just fussy.
