Question
was wondering who Lord Durham spoke to and whome did he ignore on his investigations on the rebellion in 1838

Answer
Hello Bella.
I haven't been able to find as much on this as I would have liked, so my answer might not be all what you're looking for.
Lord Durham headed a Special Legislative Council to govern Canada between June and November 1838. It was during this period that he wrote his famous report. So presumably he requested the advice of his fellow members. They were : Charles Paget, James McDonnell, Arthur Buller, Charles Buller, George Couper, Charles Grey and John Clitherow. The opposing standpoint was taken by a group known as the Patriotes so it would have been their pro-French views that he would have rejected. He established several committees to look into the matter of the future government of Canada, so their reports would have influenced him too.
