Did Queen Elizabeth ever marry anyone? I heard that she was thinking of marrying Robert Dudley.

Hello Sakura,

No, Queen Elizabeth I never married before she died in 1603.  Yes, Dudley was a potential husband (he was the Earl of Leicester, so although he was no prince he was noble enough), but he never quite managed to capture Elizabeth's heart.  Elizabeth, it is said, used her ability to entertain suitors and marry to gain diplomatic advantage.
