who were henry 7th and Elizabeth of york's children called??

thankyou x

Answer
Hello Aimee,

Henry VII and Elizabeth of York had seven children, only four of whom lived past childhood.  They were:  Arthur, the Prince of Wales (1486-1502); Margaret, who became Queen of Scotland and later Countess of Angus (1489-1541); Henry, who became King Henry VIII because his brother Arthur died before Henry VII (1491-1546); and Mary, who became Queen of France and later Duchess of Suffolk (1496-1533).  The three other children were:  Elizabeth, who died just over three years of age; Edmund at 14 months; and Katherine, who died the day she was born.

Expertise

I am knowledgeable about English history from about 1400 to 1688, and then from the reign of Victoria (after 1837). I have a particular interest in the monarchy and dynastic relations of Europe from 1800 onwards. I cannot answer questions regarding the latter Stuarts, the early Hanovers, and the politics of the 18th century.
