Hello i sent you a email to see if you can help me identify a Queen.Here is a photo

Hello Michael.
I must admit I'm not very good at identifying people from paintings, they all look the same to me from that period.
She's certainly Elizabethan or Jacobean and could possibly be Mary, Queen of Scots. Are you sure she's a Queen, not a Lady ? The best thing to do is e-mail it to the National Portrait Gallery in London, they'll probably be able to identify her.
