Question
Do you know the name of the Roman General of the "victorious sixth legion" under Constantius Chlorus (AD 250 - 306)?

Answer
Hello Patrick.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you but this has been quite a task. I have consulted all of the sources I know but have been unable to come up with a name.

Eventually I consulted the archeological record which states that no named general of the 'Victorious Sixth' is known after 213AD.

Are you sure that the soldier in question was a General. If you are able to throw any more light on this I would be happy to give you any help that I can.
