Question
Is there a blood line connecting the current Queen of England to the other Royal Houses in Europe eg denmark, luxenberg, etc
Is there a simple chart I can show showing this
Thankyou

Answer
Hello Tony.

All of the Royal houses of Europe are descended from William the Conqueror. In addition to this they have continually inter-married with each other. The answer to your question is, therefore, yes. The Royal houses of Europe, including those that have been deposed over the last couple of centuries, could be considered as one big extended family.

Unfortunately, there is no simple diagram to show this as this family tree contains literally thousands of Members, enough to fill a large book.

Here is the good news though, the large book I mentioned does exist. It's called lines of succession by Jiri Louda and Michael Maclagan. It contains the family trees of all of the European house (current and deposed)and shows the descent of all the present day monarchs from William the Conqueror. It is available in most public libraries. (Some loan it some just hold it in their reference section)you can use this book to show the various relationships between the different Royal Houses.

Hope you find this helpful.
