Mark, can you please tell me how Charles and Camilla come to be 9th. cousins once removed? Everyone says they are but nobody seems to know the common ancestor/s.

Charles and Camilla have a common ancestor in Henry Cavendish, 2nd Duke of Newcastle-upon-Tyne who died in 1691. They are both descended ten generations from him; Charles through his 3rd daughter Margaret and Camilla through his 4th daughter Catherine.

Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother (nee Bowes-Lyon), died 2002, daughter of
