British History/an old bible

Dear Mark,I have an old bible with a gold edge the coner is leather it hs its original harware and appears very old. it is William Collind, Sons &Co. Glasgow London and Edinburgh. it is chromo lithography and inside the font cover it says henry and scott. it is an illustrated holy sciptures with an image date of -1860-. do you have any ideas on how much it is worth? Do you know a aproximate age of the bible>

Hello Stephanie.
I've been asked this question several times before, so it seems that the bible is a fairly common one. William Collins began printing bibles in Scotland in 1843 and specialized in mass production copies. The company opened a print works in London in the 1890s. An antiquarian bookseller should give you a proper valuation.
