British History/King George III

Question
I am positive that King George III never went to America, but for my paper, I need an actual source that states that, and I am having trouble finding one! Can you help me find one?

Answer
Hello Cassi.
You're right. George III was probably Great Britain's least travelled monarch. He reigned for 59 years, lived to the age of 81, but never ventured out of England. In fact he never travelled more than 150 miles from London in his entire life.
