Question
was king arthur like the one that all the movies are made about is he real or not and where cn i get good sourses for it?

Answer
Hello Theresa.
My opinion is that King Arthur never existed as an individual, but his character is based on a number of figures from the Dark Ages (around 500-700) which have, over the centuries, merged into one person. What is certain is that the stories of the Round Table, dragons, wizards etc are entirely fiction. At the time he is said to have lived they did not have knights in armour as we see in the King Arthur stories today and horses were rarely used in warfare.
