Question
who was the first of wales?k8k3n

Answer
Hello Fiona.
If you mean who was the first Prince of Wales in the sense of being the heir to the English throne it was Edward, son and heir of King Edward I.
Edward I had conquered Wales and in 1301 he gave his son Edward the title Prince of Wales as he was born at Caernarvon Castle in Wales in 1284.
Before that there had been independent Princes of Wales unnconnected to the English Royal Family.
