Question
Hi Mark.I have read recently in a magazine that Prince Albert's premature demise might have been caused by an infection due to the wearing of a Prince Albert on the Royal phallus.Does this sound credible to you?

Answer
Hello Richard.
Not in the slightest. There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest he indulged in such a practice, and it's a mystery how his name has become associated with it. He is believed to have died from typhus, but in recent years experts have questioned this diagnosis, which has given rise to various theories as to the cause of death, such as the one you suggested.
